Who We Are

The San Diego Portrait Club provides its members the opportunity to practice their craft, share their passion and hone their photographic skills in an environment of mutual support and learning. It does this by sponsoring and organizing monthly photo shoots (both in studio and on location), by conducting frequent portraiture workshops, and by holding monthly meetings. In each case, these activities provide our members the opportunity to learn and share their photos, techniques, knowledge and experience. Whether you are a professional, experienced amateur or a beginner, the club’s goal is to provide the opportunity for our members to become better portrait photographers.

Please look around our website, see who we are, what we do, and how you can become a member of our club.

The San Diego Portrait Club is a member of the Southern California Association of Camera Clubs. The club meets at the Photographic Arts Building in Balboa Park from 7pm to 9pm on the first Thursday of the month.  Our address is 1780 Village Place in Balboa Park.
